Kristen’s Most Classic Couture To Casual Red Carpet Moments

The Fab Life put together moments where Kristen was most classic and moved to casual.

Kristen Stewart is known for two things on the red carpet: 1) rocking fierce, flawless fashion and 2) slipping into something a little more comfortable before the night is over. Funny, we did the exact same thing on our prom night, except our dress was on sale at Express and not a show-stopping Proenza Schouler. The actress’ very real approach to dressing up—and down— is one of our favorite things about her. She’s publicly declared her hatred of heels and exchanges them for Chucks or Keds at just about every event (she even left the Oscars barefoot). There’s something very comforting about seeing a star deal with the discomfort of dressing up just like we do. She’s human! Isn’t that a novel thought?

Below are seven of Kristen’s best red carpet dress ups n’ dress downs. Each pic features her red carpet look and her much more casual post-carpet outfit. Is it weird that we often prefer the jeans and sneakers to the haute couture?

Looks like it's the interview he did with this reporter, but it's Bravo Magazine, so grain of salt is required.

I'm sorry for the mistakes. This is a very free translation.
Some parts sound like him some not too much and it's Bravo...
But here is the translation:

Robert opens his heart – Part I

How he shines! That’s my first thought when I, the Bravo reporter, meet Robert Pattinson for an interview in Berlin. The 25-year-old seems tob e really lucky. Maybe it’s beacuse of his girlfriend Kristen Stewart (21). They seem tob e so carefree when they’re together. Just happy! How does he do that? How does it work? The perfect relationship.

Could you fall in love with someone you were just friends with?

No. Not at all. I don’t think that friendship can turn into a great love. Because one oft he two feels different.

You mean one oft them feels not enough...

Exactly. It’s like this: If you were friends before, either the girl thinks she can might find someone better or the boy.

So better would be someone ‚new’?

Yes. I feld this way. I only spend time with girls wich I also felt drawn to. So she had to decide whether she wants to go out with me or not.

And how do you know that a girl likes you? Do you just ask?

In the introductory phase, it’s better not to be so direct because she might say ‚No’ to me. Better stay relaxed. Wait. That’s the best way.

Is age difference an issue for you?

Not at all. It doesn’t matter if you’re in love – even if she’s 95. It doesn’t matter what others think, if the feelings for each other are genuine.

Good keyword. Are your friends talking bad about your relationship?

They would never say something mean. But who knows what happens if we seperate someday. Maybe they complain: „Juhu, she’s gone! What I always wanted to tell you: I hated her so much.“ (Laughts.)

Tell me, when you get to know each other your girlfriend still stuck in a relationship. How do you think about to date someone who isn’t free?

That’s a terrible situation because you get the impression that you’re destrying a love.Bat it happens that a relationship is already approaching to end. Ans then, suddenly someone new comes into your life and you can’t conrtol your feelings.

Share the same interests or opposites attract: What makes living together easier?

I think the longer you’re together the more similar you become. But is shouldn’t go too far. Love only lasts i fit stays exciting.

Where’s your limit. When do you say: „No, we can’t stay together!“?

If she’s mean to my dog. (Laughts.) But otherwise? There are problems in any love. Only lying would be the end.

Tell me an example!

If she would tell nasty things about my friend and would hurt me so. Lies always come to light. Therefore: Don’t do it.

But secrets are okay?

Sure! I think that secrets are very important.

People always say that you shoud be honest!

I don’t know. In a relationship, it’s important to be diplomatic and to say things not too harsh. Total honesty could lead to a separation. And also bad: You should never control the phone of your partner. Thar’s terrible! This can never end in something good.

Your path to happiness?

Confidence! If one is destined to be together, then it happens.

Part II next week...

Taylor Lautner Talks About Breaking Dawn and Kristen Being Upset When it Wrapped on Jimmy Kimmel Live

At 4:20

"It’s very weird. Yeah, we’ve literally been filming these movies for the past three or four years. It’s strange to know I’m not going back; I’m not going to be Jacob Black anymore . . . but on the other hand, we’re going to be promoting these movies for the next two years . . . I was pretty upset myself, but I think the biggest surprise was Kristen. She’s very sweet, yes. I predicted it from the beginning . . . on the last day, it did get emotional." Tears were shed, he admitted.

New Rob Q&A with Lexpress.fr

Young English actor, star of the Twilight movies, he's the hero of Water For Elephants for now, while we wait for his part in Cosmopolis, the new Cronenberg...

If you were a place… If you were a place, the area of South Bank, in London. Between the Hayward Gallery, National Theatre and all other activities, I'm never bored. I would also say New York for the breathtaking skyline formed by the buildings and the fast pace of the city, whatever the time of day.

A cartoonist… Ralph Steadman, illustrator of the hilarious texts of Gonzo Highway from Hunter S. Thompson. His simple but disturbed stroke never leaves me indifferent. The other reason is, perhaps, that I can draw almost like him!

A childhood dish… Boiled eggs with salt on the side and toast at your fingertips. Inevitably, this makes me feel like a Saturday, when my mother was making this for me. I’m a bit nostalgic of this time.

An animal… An elephant. It is an smart and calming animal. They have an incredibly dexterity. I learned a lot from him while working on the film. I would also add the girafe, since I had the opportunity to play with a baby girafe barely bigger than me. Their black tongue surprised.

An era… I am a big fan of music and clothing style of the 1960s. Whether in England or the United States, I like everything from that time.

An album… It is difficult to choose one. I give you my top 5: Night Train by Oscar Peterson, One Love by Bob Marley & The Wailers, Moondance, Van Morrison, Abbey Road, Beatles, and Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the Wu-Tang Clan. They all talk to me in their own way.

An artist… The cannonman at the circus. I like the risk. I love having the feeling of flying. Being a beard lady, I would not mind either. To avoid having to shave!

A book… Money, Money by Martin Amis. I read it when I was 15, I read it hundreds of times since then and it always makes me laugh. Amis has managed to create a world that is both funny and abrasive. I’d love to play John Self, the depraved hero, who's without illusions, he created.

An essential garment… Without hesitation, the underwear: it’s really the only piece you need! That and sunglasses, which are an accessory that I love! At home, I am constantly in that outfit.

A quote… “Mistakes are the doors of discovery”, by James Joyce. A smiliar one: “A man can be destroyed but not defeated” by Ernest Hemingway. Both remind me that our biggest mistakes are the experiences we learn the most from. Hope to improving give everyone the desire to live the next day, doesn't it?

New Rob Interview with Glamour (Italy) - Translated

- In your new movie Water for elephants you work with animals. Do you have any pets?
"I recenlty got a puppy from a shelter in Louisiana, and called him Bear. He's an extraordinary dog, very smart and playful."

- Have you ever gone to the circus?
"I haven't, but it's weird that I can feel nostalgic for a place I've never been to."

- When was the last time you cried?
"I continually cry, over everything. I'm crying right now! I'm drying my tears on the keyboard as I'm typing the answers."

- What book is on your bedside table at the moment?
"It's a book written by Steve Fisher, talking about the period when Las Vegas was under the control of the Mafia. I love the story of Las Vegas.

- Who is your favourite hero?
"It's John Self from the novel Money by Martin Amis, because Amis manages to make fascinating even the most disgusting character on earth."

- How do you picture yourself at age 90?
"I want to be with my wife, sitting on a deckchair, sipping some tea, and reading books in a retirement home, in a beautiful and warm place."

- Do you prefer a pair of jeans or a tuxedo?
"Pair of jeans, but I don't mind wearing a tux, not everyday of course."

- Do you read your horoscope?
"No, and I really don't believe in that stuff."

- The first verse of your favourite poem or song
<< "I grew up on the crime side, the New York Times side. Staying alive was no jive" - It's C.R.E.A.M. by the hardcore rap group Wu-Tang Clan from New York. >>

- A must in your closet
"Underwear, which is only necessary thing after all. But I might add socks as well, you know just to make the answer more interesting."

- What is one thing you think you're good and one thing you're bad at?
"I'm really good at the game "words with friends", while I'm not good at the ice hockey simulation NHL 11 for PlayStation 3."

- Which is the song on your Ipod you listen to the most?
"Beside You by Van Morrison. ITunes tells me I've listened to it 53 times, but I resetted the play count twice at least, so I might have listened to it like a hundred times."

- Where would you like to live?
"In LA and NY, or maybe in both cities!

- Are you a techno addct or a romantic guy?
"I'm a romantic guy."

- Which is more difficult to shoot, a sex scenes or a laugh?
"It's hard to say. Both kinds of scenes turned up really well."

- You open your fridge and...
"And there's a Coca-Cola Zero, a pizza from yesterday, 2 day old Chinese food, and a Heineken."

- What is your ringtone?
"The stardart one. Always."

- What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
"I brush my teeth, have a shower and go walk my dog."

- What is your dream?
"Be able to act, write, direct, edit and produce my own movies."

- Are you on any social networks?
"If "words with friends" is considered a social network then yes. But I do not have any twitter nor facebook accounts. There are too many people pretending to be me. If you want to know me, you have to go to the cinema."

- What is your tip for an aspiring actor?
"Be faithful to yourself. That's enough."

Oh, and there's this note on the pic: "The big doubt: is he dating Kristen? Yes, no, maybe. Robert changes the subject and doesn't answer this question"

Garrett Hedlund Talks to Access Hollywood: “Kristen’s phenomenal. She’s so focused, especially on this role..."

Garrett Hedlund says filming the big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s classic “On The Road” with Kristen Stewart was an unforgettable experience.

“It was wonderful,” he told Access Hollywood at the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards on Saturday.

“It was such an incredible rare journey that we all got to take, so I’m very proud of it. My anticipation is just as high as every body else’s about it,” he explained of the film, based on the legendary beat generation novel where “The Twilight Saga” star plays Marylou and Garret portrays Dean Moriarity.

“Kristen’s phenomenal,” the “Tron: Legacy” star continued. “She’s so focused, especially on this role… she’s so amazing and the world is going to get to really see that in this one.”

The 26-year-old actor is happy that the film will finally hit theaters after taking years to get off the ground.

“I singed on to the role like four years ago and so for the last four years I’ve just been twiddling thumbs trying to get the thing made, and hoping for it to be made and so it’s finally done,” he told Access.

“On The Road” — which also features Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Elisabeth Moss, Steve Buscemi and Terrence Howard — is due for release on December 10, 2011.
