Twitter time with Chris Weitz - Part 3

"Monday: M-ovie discussion. Tuesday: T-wilight stuff. Weds: W-hatevuh. Thurs: Th-rilling observations. Friday: F-ailed attempts at humor. Wknd: Mixup round"

depechemama Ok, @chrisweitz I'll let nipplegate pass for now.;) What scene did you film for New Moon that you wanted in, but it ended on the cutting room floor?

Good lord, what is nipplegate? Sounds exciting. Oh I rather like Rob's nipples in that scene.

lovelynessa @chrisweitz what was the most challenging scene you've ever shot and why?
Breakdown scene with Kristen. Cold, tough night.

SarahCullen2010@chrisweitz Hi Chris! R and K said they ad-libbed a line in New Moon. I think it was in car scene after Bella's b-day. What is the line?
Bellla saying I love you to Edward. Then the studio got me to replace it, then R and K talked me back into it.

iamrobsten@chrisweitz you worked with angelina and brad and then they started dating. with R/K was the same thing. what u have to say? :)
I'm matchmaker to the stars?

RKaneO@chrisweitz was it hard filming the water scene in newmoon where Bella/Edward look eachother ???
YES especially in 1 day. scuba gear, safety, green screen underwater, wtaer alteruing depth of field and lens quality, then cg fixes..

EdwardsLove82@chrisweitz uh oh ...always ignore the Robsten questions!! ... that's going to blow up twitter for sure haha :)
Uh.. Lessee... Rob likes sushi?

vegetarianvamp_ @chrisweitz He likes sushi? Really? Huh.
Okay okay desperately trying to retain followers... Um... ROB is an ANDROID! You heard it here first. ROB-OT. Don;t you SEEE??

LeMuffinMama @chrisweitz Do you feel good about the direction of NM and whether or not your specific style will be received well by fans?
Nice avatar. Yes, I feel good, it was a clasic widescreen romance, Javier Aguirresarobe (DP) is a genius

MsChopsy @chrisweitz Does it haunt u when peeps pick up on things like Edward's eyes being the wrong colour in Voltura or can u let it go and move on.
I think of Mandela's 21 years in jail and move on.

TwiSingapore@chrisweitz We're hoping to see all 4 directors of the Twilight Saga series receive a standing ovation from fans all over the world someday.
It is a noble dream.

@AngelAtTwilight: @chrisweitz We know the scene was filmed, we saw stills of it. Just wondering where did it go and why it wasn't in an outtake at least?
chrisweitz Basically, it was cut for narrative smoothness. I don't control the DVD extras! :(

chrisweitzfan@chrisweitz Okay. No lying. Who's better looking up close. Rob or Taylor?
On the molecular level they are almost identical. Love the avatar.

vitoriabet@chrisweitz if you were a Volturi would you book a battle without fighting -like in the last book- ?
Mmmmmm....no. Cf. Chekhov: if a gun is brought on stage, it must be fired. The Volturi should always lay smack downs.

FC_RTPattinson@chrisweitz WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE OF ROBERT PATTINSON?
HE WAS QUIETER THAN THIS

misskrista18@chrisweitz what were your thoughts when Peter gave you the card on the New Moon set?
Hello! Btw P Fac gave me a lovely card from all the Cullens welcoming me, saying take care of the, plus I got a free massage.

bubbly_i_am@chrisweitz Considering there were a lot of girls on set...where there any PMS problems? :) Any drama between hormonal women haha?
Nope. Wolf pack very catty though ;)

@chrisweitz SO in every Twilight movie the thing that everyone has got wrong is that they really can't fight Edward.. if you follow the book he is always able to hear what their next move is gonna be so they never get near him.. but in the 3 movies theres a fight with edward and people almost killing him... were u aawere of that stuff while filming and just changed it cause it works better that way for the movies?
Yes. "action sequences" for the boys.

tinkrbe1l3@chrisweitz OH MY GOSH! cant believe i havent asked you this. What happened to the RKT commentary on NM??? not that u werent exciting....
They were veeeeeeery tired, long press tour. I hadn't gone out as late the night before rec

ShinyVolvoLove@chrisweitz What's you opinion on sparkly glitter dicks?
I never knew they existed. I assume you are imagining a vampire phallus? Well -- I.... what can I say.

tinkrbe1l3 @chrisweitz Fact: Rob said he loves hobnobs so those are better automatically ;)
Rob and I will talk.

RobsessedBex@chrisweitz did you ever touch Rob's hair?
Did I ever NOT touch his hair? He told me to stop but I wouldn't. Why do you think I didn't direct Eclipse?

emilytaylor_3@chrisweitz is robert pattinson really as hot in real person ?
He's actually physically repugnant. It's something about the camera. Weird.

RobMozDean@chrisweitz won't respond to my Rob, Morrissey & James Dean question :( ~heaven knows I'm miserable now~
What unites them is a quiff. Never met Mr.Dean. met Mr. Morrissey and ADORE him.

Video, caps & info on Rob and Kristen out in Vancouver Saturday night

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart jetted off to Spain – well, a little piece of Spain amid the wintry gloom of Vancouver – for date night on Saturday.

The couple, who are filming the Twilight movie Breaking Dawn in town, were spotted enjoying a late dinner at one of Pattinson's favorite small restaurants, the Spanish tapas bar La Bodega, downtown on Howe Street.

The pair, who were joined by costar Kellan Lutz, as well as Stewart's bodyguard and his date and three other friends, sat at a large table in the loft of the restaurant, tucked away in a corner.

After sharing a number of plates of tapas, they left around midnight and strolled back to their hotel about three blocks away – with Pattinson and Stewart splitting off into one small group, and Lutz in another.

Pattinson and Stewart were both decked out almost all in black, clearly trying to keep a low profile – but were in high spirits and being warmly affectionate with one another, swinging their hands back and forth and laughing.

Filming is expected to continue in Vancouver until mid-April.

Peter Facinelli talks Breaking Dawn and other Twilight scenes

All tweets via Twifans - LA TwiTour.

"Did anyone know that Peter laid on top of Kristen during the audition and shouted at Rob to get the venom out? Peter thought it would look weird if anyone walked in on that scene. Lol"

"Peter said if he wad younger he would have loved to play Edward. It was Peter's idea to drop Edward during the eclipse fight training. He thought Csrlisle should one up edward cause he's older."

"Peter says the family scenes are like one big party. And loves those scenes in every twilight movie."

About Breaking Dawn

"Peter has filmed one day in Vancouver fot breaking dawn and it was cold and rainy.
Peter says bill condon is enjoyable and very nice. Very communicative and receptive to ideas but hasnt seen any finished product. Breaking Dawn script is Peter's fav script. He says follows the book but has variations that we will like.Peter thinks it is more exciting because we wouldnt want to see 2 hours of Bella on the couch. Peter says he likes surprises cause everyone already knows the books and it adds some excitement for fans."
